ICS ServiceFocus

Members of the ICS team have developed two training courses that are available under the banner ICS ServiceFocus. These courses aim to :

  • help front-line staff develop their knowledge and understanding of customer service
  • provide team leaders and managers with the tools to manage service delivery

Our nationwide network of business partners deliver them.

ICS FirstImpressions

This is a 20-hour course full of activities and interaction, so that front-line staff can enjoy a stimulating introduction to information, ideas and knowledge that will make great improvements to their customer service.

ICS ServiceManagement

This is a 30-hour course also packed full of activities, and will help managers and team leaders manage their customer service teams effectively and proactively through motivating and inspiring their teams. The course focuses on exceeding customers’ expectations by placing them at the heart of all the team does.


Becoming an ICS business partner

There’s an exciting opportunity for training organisations to deliver a suite of training courses under the banner of ICS ServiceFocus. The first two courses, ICS FirstImpressions and ICS ServiceManagement, are already available. We’ve developed these activity-based courses along with material for business partners and workbooks for participants.

Who can become an ICS business partner?

Existing and new ICS Associate members can become an ICS business partner, as long as they can demonstrate that they can deliver to around 100 delegates per year, and meet our quality standards. We won’t charge anything on top of our normal Associate member fee. Business partners pay their annual fee of £2,500 by direct debit. There’s also an individual delegate registration fee of £75 (or £95 for delegates outside UK/Ireland). 

How do I become a business partner?

All you have to do is fill in our electronic application form – you’ll see there are nine sections to complete. This chart shows the Business Partner Application Process. Then send the completed form to ICS, and we’ll be in touch within 28 days to let you know if your application has been successful.
