Job vacancies: project manager and customer service training and qualifications developer- 18 December 2009

We are looking to appoint a project manager and a customer service training and qualifications developer to the Delivering World Class Customer Service for 2012 (DWCCS) Team.

Following research undertaken in 2008/9, the London Employment & Skills Taskforce for 2012 (LEST 2012) recommended that customer service training should be reviewed to improve standards, and that a suite of good practice training and qualification units should be developed for the multi-sector opportunities for 2012 and beyond.

The Institute of Customer Service has been appointed as the lead partner to deliver this project through its Policy, Standards and Qualifications Directorate.

The project will focus on the development, testing and delivery of a number of units of accredited training that meet ‘world class’ standards.  The units will embed disability and inter-cultural awareness.
