Paul Carter

An engaging and proven board level executive and business leader with significant exposure to international operations, different cultures and working styles, Paul offers a proven track record of delivering results and growing top and bottom line in small, medium and large businesses.

He grew-up professionally in a VC-backed UK travel company, and has since held a variety of senior positions in a global hospitality service business. As Managing Director in two subsidiaries at Wyndham, he managed multi-million pound budgets and led operational teams of varying shapes and sizes. Known as a rational communicator, he is focused on how to get the best out of people and the available technology.  

Paul started with Hotelplan UK in September 2015, in a board-level team role as Chief Operating Officer, with the ambition to step up to the CEO leadership role. In his first 18 months priorities revolved around learning fast about Hotelplan’s products, aviation and operations, driving the new Customer Experience agenda, proactively challenging the status quo, & working alongside the CEO in shaping our key change programmes.
