Graham Edwards, Chief Executive, Wales & West Utilities (WWU)

Graham has been Chief Executive of WWU since its start up in 2005, following the acquisition of the Wales & South West gas distribution networks from National Grid. The company owns and operates a network of 35,000 kilometres of pipework, serving a population of 7.5 million people across Wales and the south west of England. It has an annual turnover of over £400 million and an asset value of £2 billion.

During a varied career Graham has held senior positions across a wide range of management disciplines including Engineering, Production and Human Resources - prior to his latter roles as a business leader. Before moving into the utility sector he worked for many years in the manufacturing sector for global automotive and white goods companies operating across Europe. In his utility experience, Graham has run businesses across the electricity, water and gas sectors.  

Graham is a board member of Dwr Cymru Welsh Water and the University of South Wales. He is also a recent past Chair of both CBI and Business in the Community in Wales.
