On 2 August, the staff of City University London's Student Centre were presented with a plaque to mark the successful re-accreditation of the Centre with The Institute of Customer Service ServiceMark for service excellence.
This is the second time that the Student Centre has been re-accredited for service quality by The Institute, since first achieving the standard in 2010, however this time they were awarded a Distinction in recognition of the high scores that were achieved from both student and staff feedback. To date only six organisations in the UK have achieved Distinction level, and City is the only educational provider to have done so.
Sally Duff, from The Institute of Customer Service, who presented the plaque to staff, said: “I am so glad the Student Centre has achieved Distinction level - it is really great to see your service continuing to improve and excel year on year.”
