In her recent BBC Radio Kent interview, our CEO, Jo Causon discussed the rising problem of abuse directed at parking wardens and other public-facing workers, placing it within the broader context of unacceptable hostility towards frontline staff.

Jo also highlighted The Institute’s Service with Respect campaign, emphasising the need for organisations, government and the public to recognise the issue, and argued that the law should be extended to create a standalone offence for assaults against all public‑facing workers – not just those in retail – to better protect all service professionals.
