The opportunity for you

An opportunity has become available within our Marketing & Communications Team for a Product Executive.

Purpose of role

  • To manage the end-to-end delivery of our benchmarking survey products working with our members, key suppliers and Client Relationship Directors to ensure they are delivered successfully to requirements
  • To help manage and develop products across the full life cycle to deliver a superior member experience, drive engagement and keep us relevant, including new and in-life products and services across the value proposition.
  • To support a full mix of product marketing activities to raise awareness and drive engagement across the full portfolio of products and support member retention
  • To support the Marketing & Communications Team with a range of activities relating to product marketing and internal communications relating to products and services

What we are looking for

Knowledge

An awareness of product management and product marketing techniques, including product launch, development, marketing automation & driving product engagement.

Skills (essential)

  • Planning and implementation of effective product launches on time and within budget
  • A good working knowledge of product management
  • Excellent communication skills in English to produce concise and impactful marketing copy and internal communications (verbal and written)
  • Excellent attention to detail to maintain product and standards documentation
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to provide tangible outputs
  • Able to manage changing requirements as well as multiple overlapping projects at one time
  • Delivers to time and budget in line with project management principles
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • IT skills: skilled in use of hubspot or similar digital marketing platforms, basic Adobe CC, SQL and HTML skills an advantage
  • Microsoft competency levels: Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Attitudes (essential)

  • High integrity
  • Proactive and solution-oriented

Experience (essential)

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Marketing B2B or B2C environment, with at least 2 years’ Product experience
  • Briefing and managing suppliers

Education and Professional Qualifications (essential)

Educated to degree level or above

Minimum GCSE at C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Note: Occasional evening work and travel to other locations will be necessary for business reasons.

The opportunity for you

A new opportunity has become available within our Marketing & Communications Team for an Events & Marketing Executive to join us.

Purpose of role

  • To own, promote and manage events relating to national profile raising (including our flagship Annual Conference and Awards) and support regional event delivery
  • To deliver a programme of events which increases member and non-member engagement and ensures members gain maximum value from their membership
  • To organise events ensuring cross-departmental co-ordination
  • To support the Marketing & Communications Team with a range of activities relating to Marketing, Communications and Product

What we are looking for

Knowledge

Effective project management, promotion and execution of physical and virtual events. A solid grounding in modern marketing techniques including product launch, campaign management, digital & social channels, lead generation.

 Skills (essential)

  • Excellent planning and implementation of effective communications plans and events on time and within budget
  • Accomplished oral and written communications in English to produce concise and impactful digital marketing copy and promotional material
  • Delivers to time and budget in line with project management principles
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Financial management of events, and the ability to identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve performance
  • Excellent virtual team management and ability to manage stakeholders including CEO, Director Team, Client Relationship Team and supplier partners
  • IT skills: competent in use website CMS, marketing automation platforms (Hubspot or similar), event management systems
  • Microsoft competency levels: Advanced Word, Intermediate Powerpoint and Excel

Attitudes

  • Proactive and solution-oriented

Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in a Marketing B2B or B2C environment, with at least 2 years’ experience of event management (essential)
  • Briefing and managing suppliers in events management, venue provision, and production of printed and online materials (desirable)
  • Using events metrics and KPIs (desirable)

Education and Professional Qualifications

Educated to degree level (essential)

Minimum GCSE at C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths (essential)

Note: Occasional evening work and travel to other locations will be necessary
