Happy NCSW 2026!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in National Customer Service Week 2026 and shared their activities, celebrations and customer service stories with us. It was fantastic to see so many organisations and individuals championing great service, recognising their colleagues and highlighting the difference they make to customers every day.

We loved seeing your posts and updates across social media throughout the week. Below are just some of our highlights from LinkedIn and X.

We couldn’t feature everyone – there were far too many brilliant moments to choose from! Head over to LinkedIn and X and follow #NCSW2026 to catch up on more of the celebrations.

Thank you for helping make NCSW 2026 such a success. We hope you enjoyed being part of it, and look forward to celebrating with you again next year!

Key sessions this week: recordings

To mark the start of National Customer Service Week, we held a live panel discussion, ‘AI vs the Human Touch – Finding the Balance’ exploring how organisations can harness AI to enhance service delivery while keeping empathy, judgement and emotional intelligence at the heart of the customer experience.

Thursday’s theme was Service Culture to Improve Productivity – revisit our launch webinar introducing the newly relaunched Service Culture Index to hear how it can help you understand and measure employee perceptions, behaviours and engagement, and gain practical insights into embedding and strengthening a service culture.

This year, we asked you to share your stories, experiences and reasons for supporting our Service with Respect campaign, as well as the ways you’re putting the campaign into action within your own organisations. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to record and submit a video!

Friday was Customer Service Recognition Day – rewatch our recent NCSW Awards Entries – Top Tips webinar, where Mike Faulkner, Chair of Judges, along with some of our previous judges shared their insights on what makes an entry stand out.

In this special episode, our CEO, Jo Causon and Joe Gordon, COO of Starling Bank, discuss how organisations can combine AI & technology with human empathy to deliver better customer outcomes. They explore responsible AI deployment, reducing process-driven failure demand and proving the ROI of excellent service.

Customer Service Heroes Competition

To round off the week we held a social media competition asking you and your colleagues to vote for your organisation’s Customer Service Heroes.

In celebration of National Customer Service Week, we asked you to share your winners with an example of their achievements using the hashtag #cshero on Friday.

Selecting a winner out of the numerous entries received was not an easy task. We loved seeing all of your customer service heroes in action, and the winner is… Jag Thandi, Gas Heating Engineer at Housing Plus Group – congratulations and well done!
