Joe is the Operations Director for Octopus Energy GB. Joe’s team are responsible for all aspects of operations for Octopus’ 7.9m household energy customers in Great Britain, and about 100k business customers.
Joe’s team covers a really broad range of operations for energy customers across GB. They increasingly support customers with low carbon technology like solar panels, EVs, batteries and heat pumps. The team also looks after customers in vulnerable situations – including financial difficulty – as energy costs remain a significant cost for many households.
Before joining the energy industry Joe worked for 5 years for Google in the Strategy and Operations team, and spent the first 10 years of his career as a consultant at Bain & Company.
