Head to Head with Craig Brown, Chief Operating Officer (Legal & General Retail)

Our CEO, Jo Causon will be meeting with Craig Brown, Chief Operating Officer of Legal & General Retail, as part of our Head to Head series to discuss leadership and challenges faced.

Craig is accountable for operations across our Retail Protection, Annuities, Workplace Savings and Home Finance businesses. He’s also overseeing our Retail-wide agile transformation.

He joined Legal & General in 2012 and has held several senior commercial and operational roles within the group, including CEO of Legal & General Home Finance (LGHF), Director of Intermediary (LGI) and Head of Claims Commercial Management (GI and LGI).

His over 25 years’ experience of the financial services and manufacturing sectors also includes senior commercial roles at Aviva, Lloyds Banking Group and Bosch. He holds a degree in Purchasing and Supply chain management, and has twice been named the British Mortgage Awards’ Business Leader of the Year (Protection or General Insurance).

Craig has two children and enjoys skiing, taekwondo and golf
