Phil is the CEO of coeo, a leading credit management and debt collection company. With a career in Financial Services spanning more than 20 years, he is a seasoned commercial leader who has a passion for people and helping them to thrive in their roles.
Previously, Phil was the Managing Director of Debt Services at TDX Group, where he was responsible for the growth and ongoing development of the Equifax Debt Services businesses in the UK and Spain, including data recovery specialist TDX Group and the public sector joint venture, Indesser.
He joined TDX Group in 2021 from Cabot Financial, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at American Express, including UK Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of UK Co-Brands and International Currency Cards. In these roles, he led teams of up to 500 people across EMEA, the US, and Asia.
Phil holds an undergraduate degree in Business and is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. He has consistently invested in his learning and development throughout his career.
In his spare time, Phil enjoys several pursuits, including sailing, travelling, and spending time with his partner and three children.
