About David Cowans – Group Chief Executive at Places for People:
David has over 30 years’ experience of housing, urban regeneration, mixed-tenure and mixed use development, property management and financial management, leading strategic change in large and small organisations.
David is a Fellow of the Institute of Housing, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors and has an MBA from Birmingham University. He is also an Academician of The Academy of Urbanism and a Policy Fellow at the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence.

Since then, she has driven membership growth by 150 percent and established the UK Customer Satisfaction Index as the country’s premier indicator of consumer satisfaction, providing organisations with an indicator of the return on their service strategy investment.
