Head to Head with Paul Jenkins (Cabot)

Paul Jenkins, Managing Director for the UK at Cabot, will be in conversation with Jo Causon, CEO at The Institute of Customer Service, as part of our Head to Head series. Jo and Paul will be discussing leadership and challenges faced.

Paul has 35 years’ experience in the financial industry, where he specialises in credit risk, financial crime and product leadership. He started his career at Barclays at age 17, and his previous roles include Risk Director at Barclays Bank and Group Risk Director at Santander.

Paul joined Wescot in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer, before being named Chief Executive Officer in 2011. Cabot then acquired Wescot in 2017, and Paul took on leadership responsibility for all of the UK entities back in January 2021. Today, Paul manages Cabot Credit Management Group Ltd, Mortimer Clarke Solicitors, Wescot, DLC and Orbit.

Whilst at Barclays, Paul studied for his ACIB (Chartered Banking) at night school, which made him a key advocate of Cabot’s apprenticeship programme. Paul strongly believes in work experience, structured learning and enabling people to gain professional qualifications and support their future careers.
